Schoolyard Science

Southern Appalachian Raptor Research educators will visit your school to present programs or implement projects that will help supplement core curriculum.  SARR will visit, evaluate and utilize existing resources on the school grounds, eliminating the need for expensive and time consuming travel.  Programs such as Project Feederwatch and Project Nestwatch can be initially facilitated by SARR and continued by teachers and classes through the school year. SARR has established Bluebird nest box trails at several regional schools, and will assist with planning and operating a ‘Migration Celebration’ event at your school. Please contact SARR to plan and schedule a ‘Schoolyard Science’ program at your school in 2013-2014.
